My favorite subjects to paint are characters, not especially realistic, but expressive of their thoughts and emotions.
I have painted in watercolor, oil and acrylic, and find every medium fascinating in different ways — the flow and melding of watercolor, the soft richness of oil, and the flexibility of acrylic paint.
Whatever the medium, I return to my favorite subject — people in thought. I see faces in nature, building materials, and in clouds in the sky.
